The shredder has became better than I’d hoped. The previous one (African american and Decker) worked well by swimming a menu with cutting blades at each individual side – despite having new replacement blades, it has not been that wonderful with frequently woody fabric or with softer and sappier “green” branches.
The Bosch AXT 24 TC is probably much much better with somewhat dried wood – and can choke on branches basically lopped from the trees with loads of greenery still about them. It’s best to undertake a mix of green plus woody items, so that if the shredder does will “choke” a little on that green junk then feed it a few drier branches and it will eventually clear.
It doesn’t often “grab” or “kick-back” with branches the fact that previous knife model would, but draws the branches through in the slower and many more controlled plus consistent way.
I have got only given the unit 4 super stars however because of the difficulty concerning moving it again around. It is usually a weighty monster – but the problem really derives from the fact its wheels may be close together – so when you are moving the item around seems like rather major heavy and unstable.
